Paige Bennett
Licensed Wedding Officiant in the Province of Ontario
Throughout my life I have followed many pathways...
I grew up in two cities (one in southern and one in northern Ontario); went to school in five cities; and have travelled to four continents.
I worked at a summer camp (John Island!), in a restaurant, at a golf course, and the Ministries of Education, Natural Resources and Forestry, and a Conservation Authority…and this was all before I began my career as a teacher! As a teacher I taught grades 6-8, was a vice principal, focused on special education, and taught in the Faculty of Education for two universities.
Over the years I have volunteered at a food bank, the YMCA, a Humane Society and the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program where I am an Evaluator, and still volunteer with my golden retriever Buck.
At home I love spending time with my family and friends and getting in lots of walks on the Bruce Trail with Buck. It doesn’t get much better than that!
I became an Officiant because I wanted to be part of, and contribute to, significant moments and celebrations in people’s lives. I consider it a great honour and privilege to be able to do so. I look forward to being part of this pathway in your life!
